Welcome to the Tri-City Multicultural Centre website! We are a new community centre in the Tri-City area which meets the needs of everyone in the community and surrounding areas.

The Tri-City Multicultural Centre for Development is a not-for-profit community based organization. Our mission is to honour the spirit of our community by providing various activities and programs, which enable social, and professional enrichment.

Our Mandate

Our mandate is to make use of our facilities by:

  • operating an after-school drop in program for youths ages 7 and up
  • operating a dance program for youths ages 7 and up
  • operating a parents' night-out babysitting service for children ages 3 and up
  • operating a senior citizens program
  • offering various volunteer opportunities
  • networking with community centres and schools in the K-W area

Objectives of the Centre | Print |  E-mail

Our objectives will be accomplished by doing the following:

  • improved academic performance
by providing dedicated, trained tutors and mentors for our youths and through improved school attendance
  • improved psychosocial skills
children will participate in group activities to achieve improved relationships with parents, adults, teachers, peers and through conflict resolution
  • improved self esteem
 accomplished through improved academic performance, social skills and dance
  • improved level of physical activity
accomplished  through participation in soccer,  basketball and volleyball
